Getting to the heart of your business

Because change takes clarity, capability, and courage

Where leadership growth meets operational excellence

Behind every strategy, process, and performance challenge are people – doing their best work in complex environments, often under pressure and carrying more than anyone realises.

enapay Consulting works within organisations to make sense of what’s actually happening beneath the surface, and to turn that understanding into practical improvement that strengthens both your people and the systems they work within.

This work is grounded in honesty, courage, and respect for the people doing the work, because lasting improvement only happens when people are trusted to think clearly, take responsibility, and shape the solution themselves.

What enapay means

enapay means brave. Not the loud performative kind of bravery, but the quiet, everyday courage it takes to look honestly at how things are working, ask difficult questions, and choose a better way forward.

This philosophy runs through everything we do: helping organisations grow through clarity, curiosity, and courage, one conversation at a time.

Bravery often shows up as:

Creating safe spaces for honest conversations

Challenging assumptions with care and respect

Holding up the mirror for reflection without blame

Staying present and communicating when the way ahead feels difficult

We believe people are rarely the problem.

More often, they are working within systems, habits, and assumptions that make good work harder than it needs to be.

Real improvement begins when people can look honestly at themselves and their environment, see the patterns that are holding things back, have honest conversations, and find the confidence to do something different.

How enapay works

Our work begins by standing where the work happens – listening carefully, observing patterns, and making space for honest conversation. An honesty that often begins when someone feels able to say they don’t have the answer.

By bringing what is often unseen or unspoken into the open, leaders and teams can start to see what’s really happening and decide, together, how to move forward.

It’s an approach that often includes: understanding realities, seeking new perspectives, developing capability and courage, experimenting with small changes, and building new habits and processes.

Rather than imposing solutions, this work creates opportunities for people to test new ways of thinking and working in a safe and practical way, ensuring they also have the capability to continue this development going forward.

Sharon Hartley: depth, experience and lived values

enapay Consulting is led by Sharon Hartley.

Over more than three decades, Sharon has supported operational leadership, organisational improvement, leadership development, and coaching within complex organisations, including aerospace, automotive, defence, manufacturing, and energy.

Through this work, she has consistently shown that sustainable improvement isn’t achieved through processes alone. People need the space and visibility to see what is really happening, the courage to challenge assumptions, and the confidence to do something differently.

Bringing together her deep operational understanding and people-centred approach, Sharon helps strengthen both performance and capability, building leaders and teams who can think clearly, take ownership, and continue improving long after the work with enapay has ended.

Clients have described Sharon as someone who “holds the mirror with courage and kindness”, helping people see themselves, their work, and their impact more clearly.

Recently, writing BRAVE has helped Sharon articulate the beliefs that shape her work: sustainable improvement rarely begins with a process. It begins with awareness, reflection, courage, and a willingness to do something different.

Alongside her professional work, Sharon coaches a local grassroots rugby team, where many of these same principles apply: building trust, accountability, and resilience to support learning and growth through experience.

Sharon creates environments where people feel safe to try, fail, learn, and improve, which is central to how she works, both on and off the pitch.
